Traxxas Spartan Upkeep & RC Boat Maintainance
We use the Traxxas Spartan to show you some things you need to do to keep your rc boat running smooth. Somewhat of a afterrun procedure but not necessary each and every time. Lubricate your drive shaft and your drive shaft strut. This procedure would however apply to most all rc boats. You need to lube both sides of the motor even though it is water proof as well. This will keep your electric rc boat running smooth. @shadow122788 damn that sucks, heard a lot of people had to, we never had an issue luckily.
@tytogononttt lol so true. Unavoidable…
@BSRCer i know it sucks when there is no other way to say it
i am new to rc boats and i was wondering where i could get a 5mm drive shaft for my turnigy motor and a drive strut thanks
lol he makes putting the blocks back in easy
@MultiCunt666 I just bought a Spartan today, after running I cleaned and lubed everything and realized the blocks where going to be a PITA! Took me about 30 seconds to figure out a solution. Before trying to put anything back in start the crews on the blocks. Theres enough play that it all snaps together very easily like this.
Can’t you just use some of that marine grease to lubricate it? Because that’s what I do. Please respond! :vD
@770buddy1 and can you use it ?
@770buddy1 the white tube? thats my question to :d
